TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

Porto Cathedral

Commonly known as Sé do Porto, is situated in the heart of the historic centre of the city. Located on the top of the hill, and next to Vímara Peres, made to honour this medieval knight, that conquered Portucale, the previous name of the city of Porto, from the Moors definitively in 868.

São Bento Railway Station

It was designed by the Portuguese architect José Marques da Silva and decorated with 20.000 tiles made by the painter Jorge Colaço. It is one of the must-see monuments for those visiting the city of Porto.

Aliados Avenue

It is the main avenue of downtown of the city and what makes this avenue so emblematic are its buildings and their statues. You can admire the statue of children holding a bowl of fruit, the statue of the naked girl and the most significant one, a statue representing D. Pedro IV that holds on his right hand, the Portuguese Constitution Letter.

Ribeira

Looking at the sun coming down over the Douro River is something unforgettable… now imagine being surrounded by a stunning landscape as the area of Ribeira and its little houses with different colours. Together with the rabelo boats, it transports us to the past with the vibrant movement near the water with all the commercial trades happening here.

Luís I Bridge

This century-old bridge connects Porto to Vila Nova de Gaia has a view over the Douro River that illuminates us with a fabulous energy. The golden colours of the sunset start to reflect on the water and illuminates everything with a magical colour.

Serra do Pilar

Overlooking Porto from the highest place in the region next to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Monastery of Serra do Pilar you could not ask for more.
