Maintaining the values of the company, Boost Portugal acquired Bluedragon in 2016 adding knowledge and experience to the individual and the corporate solutions.

We are a modern and innovating company, with young, experienced, and motivated team able to answer the demands of our clients in an authentic, fun, and ecological way.

Our focus is to add value to our offer by working together with local businesses. Sustainability and togetherness are two ideals that we always keep in mind when working together with local people. They are the key point to make this city as unique as we all “Tripeiros” know it.

…IN THE BEGINNING

Bluedragon opened doors for the first time on the 7th of May 2010, with the aim of offering unique experiences to travellers visiting Porto. We grew side by side with the growth of tourism in the city that until then was almost non-existent.

We started offering only Bike and Segway tours to distinguish ourselves from the other tour operators. It was the first company offering Segway tours in Porto as the first one to have the guides wearing a company uniform showing a more professional image to the tourism sector.

The Brand

According to the founder of the company, the name Bluedragon was born from a combination between 2 simple things:

“It is believed that this mythological creature is associated with innovation, vigour and strength which represents the brand.”

The company was always known for its close relationship between the local guides and the travellers, with a personal and specialized costumer service to provide an excellence service.

Our goal is to make sure all our travellers have an authentic and unique experience to remember throughout their lives. With the guidance of our local storytelling guides, you will be able to learn and have fun in a safe and ecological way.

We are working on becoming a 100% eco-friendly tour operator, so we work hard on using materials 100% ecological as well as working with partners with the same ideal. Every day we create awareness on the importance of a sustainable tourism starting with the end of the single plastic use.

We aim to contribute to a sustainable growth of local business run by “Portuenses” (=Porto inhabitant) for “Portuenses” as a way to protect our heritage.

With the idea in mind of achieving a 100% satisfaction from our clients, we guarantee the possibility of a tailor-made experience totally personalized to our customers. Nevertheless, we have a wide range of different offer from vehicles to thematic tours because we want for you to discover the destination in eco friendly vehicles, lowering the impact of our visitors in the dynamics of the city.
